The material has a low carbon footprint, and unlike crop-based biomaterials, this biocomposite doesn't interfere with a food-production chain. The grinder features a silicone plug at the bottom that makes it easy to fill up with any spices or blends you love using. The CrushGrind mechanism is mounted on the grinder, and it is crafted from a biocomposite that is based on 30% wood-based cellulose fibres from certified sustainably managed forests and approximately 70% crude tall oil, a residue of the pulp production process. The material has a warm, natural, earthy feel, and the biocomposite has a low carbon footprint.
