Particularly pure lifted aromas of tea rose, plum and black cherry, combine beautifully with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg spice along with a backdrop petrichor" of summerrain on iron-rich clay.
The aromas follow through on the palate with a marked spiciness balancing the plum, cherry and pomegranate fruit. Well integrated fine-grained tannins are present from entry to finish, giving backbone to this bright, pure, lively wine, with its characteristic Ashbourne,saline, mineral length and classic styling.
