Description
The R438 AVR is an automatic voltage regulator that provides closed loop control of the generator output voltage by regulation of the exciter field current. It can be powered by the EREP or PMG field excitation system, and has an integrated LAM system to cope with increased loads applied to the engine. It also has low frequency protection and overexcitation current limit function, and a slow start function to stabilize the initial voltage.
