The KW818 code reader is a car diagnostic tool that can be used to read and clear DTCs, read vehicle information, and view freeze frame data. It also has the ability to read engine fault codes and show definitions. The KW818 also has a 2.8 inch LCD display and a 5.5 foot cable. It is also internet upgradable.

How to verify whether the vehicle is ready to pass the emission test? There are three LED indicators on the scanner.
The Green LED indicates your vehicle is in good condition.
The Yellow LED indicates there are some issues waiting to be fixed and clear codes.
The Red Led indicates your vehicle serious problem, you may not pass the emission test if these problems could not be fixed.
