Description
The CRKT Ripsnort II 7271 is a beefy, cleaver-like knife with a stainless steel handle and blackGRN pocket clip. It has a locking mechanism and a blade length of 8.83 cm.
The antithesis of delicate. Sometimes you need a thin-as-a-razor, low-profile companion for fine-tuned tasks. This is not one of those times. The Ripsnort II everyday carry is as beefy as it gets; the big a** blade is modelled after a cleaver. And it shows.
Designer Philip Booth grew up watching sparks fly in his fathers tool and die shop, and hes since made a serious name for himself from his own in Ithaca, Michigan. Surrounded by everyday carry folders replete with drop point blades, Philip decided to crumple up the go-to blueprint and make something totally different. Enter: the Ripsnort II. A cleaver-like blade owns the first impression, but the black handle with a stainless steel accent isnt far behind.
With a powerful knife comes a secure lock up when the blade is open thanks to the burly locking liner. Once open, the flipper tab almost disappears and doesn't intrude on handling the blade.
Put this one into action, and watch butchers everywhere flush with envy.
