Description
This is a data sheet for Gamblin Artists Oil Cerulean Blue Hue, a semi-transparent blue. It is made with zinc oxide and copper phthalocyanine (PW 4, PB 15), and has a higher tinting strength than its namesake. It is also lightfast in Series 2.
A medium, semi-transparent blue. Other Series 2 blues are transparent, so Robert Gamblin formulated this colour for painters looking for more opacity at a reasonable price.
