HOW TO USE ARROWROOT POWDER
Herbal Tea (infusion): Add 1 tsp in 1 cup of boiled water. Cover cup/container and allow to infuse for 5-10 mins. Drink 1 cup up to three times a day.
For a natural deodorant; try this recipe: (2 TBSP coconut oil, 1 TBSP arrowroot powder, 1 TBSP baking soda). Mix well. Let it set until mixture is a solid and then it's ready to use! You can also add one to two drops of your favourite essential oil for fragrance
Arrowroot is a great natural (and safe) alternative for baby powder. Mix one-half cup arrowroot with 1 tsp. chamomile. The chamomile will soothe the skin, and the arrowroot will keep it dry
ARROWROOT POWDER RECIPE INSPIRATION
Calming Lavender Shower Melts
1 c arrowroot powder or cornstarch
2 T Epsom salts
2 T water plus extra
5 - 7 drops lavender essential oil
Mix together the lavender oil, cornstarch and Epsom salts then add the water. You will need to gradually add extra water to form a thick paste. Once the paste is ready, decant into ice cube trays or molds and freeze until set. As long as you didnt use too much water, you may remove the melts from the molds and store in an airtight container.
