Description
The Esprit is a drop point knife with a 3.25" blade made of CPM-20CV stainless steel. It has a titanium frame lock and a marble carbon fiber handle. It has a tip-up, right-carry pocket clip.
The Esprit is just a downright nice everyday carry folder from Ray Laconico. It follows his typical utility style with clean lines and a user-first mentality. Every one of Ray's designs puts ergonomics at the apex importance because if the knife's not comfortable to use, you're just not going to carry it. The Esprit does not have this problem as the handle is nicely contoured and shaped to fit almost any hand size. The titanium frame lock provides rock-solid lock up and it has a lock bar insert that doubles as an overtravel arrestor. The deep-bellied drop point blade is a nice 3.25" size, large enough for most if not all cutting tasks, but not too big as to draw unwanted attention. This really is one excellent everyday carry knife and another well-executed piece from Ray Laconico.
