The MidiFace II 1X1 USB Midi Interface is a Class Compliant USB powered MIDI interface that supports MIDI In, MIDI Out, and MIDI Thru. It is ideal for connecting a keyboard to a Mac or PC, and can be used for recording music with a computer. The MidiFace II includes two MIDI cables and a USB cable for no extra charge.
The MidiFace Thru is USB powered and supports MIDI In, MIDI Out and MIDI Thru. It is Class Compliant, which means you won't need to install drivers on your Mac, Windows XP, Vista or 7 computer. Just plug it in using the included USB cable and you are ready to go! Works on the iPad with the camera connection kit. It even includes two MIDI cable so you can connect your keyboard or other MIDI device to the MidiFace.

Unlike many other MIDI interfaces, the USB and MIDI cables can easily be connected or disconnected from the MidiFace II. This ensures that if the cables are accidentally pulled, they will likely disconnect from the device, instead of breaking it. (Other MIDI interfaces have the cables molded together, so if they get pulled, they can only break, not disconnect.) This feature is important for schools or live situations where it is possible your keyboard or computer might get moved.
