Description
Sunset Boulevard is a classic film about Hollywood and the studio system. Joe Gillis is a struggling writer who is trying to avoid his creditors. He pulls his car into the garage of an apparently deserted mansion and soon discovers that it is in fact the home of a Hollywood star, Norma Desmond ( Gloria Swanson ). Norma is a recluse who is obsessed with her past and her own fame. Joe and Norma become friends, but Norma is eventually revealed to be a fraud and Joe is forced to go back to his creditors.
