Description
This is a 500mL, 240VAC HM table top heating mantle that is self-supporting and can be placed directly on the counter top. It applies uniform heat to round-bottom flasks with a low-watt density utilizing a knitted and braided heating element with a multi-stranded resistance wire for increased durability and flexibility. It has a pre-molded fiberglass liner with fiberglass insulation, covered by a silicone impregnated fiberglass cloth outer shell. Useful for temperatures up to 900F (482C). The table top mantle allows easy viewing of flask contents, and is stackable for easy storage. Includes a 6ft (1.8m) power cord with a standard 3-prong NEMA 6-15 plug. Requires temperature controller (sold separately).
