Typically thought of as a boot exclusive to the tight five, these advancements open up the design to loose forwards and sevens players as well. The boot features a synthetic leather upper to combat water logging and improve stability. Details also include an upper heel pull for an easy on, and a 10mm heel raise, priming the foot for explosive contact with the ground. Like its predecessor, this latest Kakari honors rugby's classic 8-stud configuration with lightweight aluminum studs for traction on soft ground.
