The Nimbus V2 is a modern looking, Scandinavian styled folder with a sleek, useful puuku-like blade profile. It is made of Elmax steel and has a bronze washer locking mechanism. It has a 7.62 cm blade length and a 3.5 mm thickness. The handle is made of green canvas micarta and has a wire - reversible clip. It has a AISI 420 hardened - bead blasted liner and a pivot mechanism made of bronze washers. The Nimbus V2 is manufactured in Italy to exacting quality standards.
The original ACE Nimbus was created to be the perfect outdoor companion, designed with rugged Nordic tool knives in mind. We decided to take the "tool / working knife" design concept even further with version 2, by rounding the scales for a more ergonomic grip, using Elmax steel, and replacing the bearings with our own special bronze washers.

Our inspiration for the ACE Nimbus came from the classic Danish motorcycle of the same name. TheNimbusmotorcycle, originally conceived in 1915 by Danish Designer Peder Fisker, was in production from 1919 to 1960.
