Binchotan charcoal is a type of charcoal that is popular in Japan because of its long burning properties and the amazing flavor it imparts when grilling. Unlike other types of charcoal, binchotan has an infrared heat which results in a much juicier texture and heightened flavors when cooking. There is little to no smoke and it is odourless when burning, so the flavor of the food is kept pure.

How to use:

- The binchotan comes in varied sizes so should you want to make smaller pieces they can be broken into smaller pieces by knocking the larger pieces together with the smaller pieces
