Description
Caroline is having a difficult time deciding if she wants to have a Jewish bat mitzvah or not. She has a Jewish mother and a non-Jewish father, so she is unsure if she wants to identify as Jewish. Her best friend, Rachel, is having her bat mitzvah and Caroline starts to become more interested in the Jewish faith. Caroline's nana dies and she starts to feel more connected to her Jewish heritage.
