The user can easily add it to their existing drip line and experiment with this advanced irrigation method, as long as the pressure is kept at around 14 psi.
Here's an easy and inexpensive way to test out a Blumat system without commiting to the expense of a kit or large quantity of the parts. We put together the Tropf Blumat sensor with an adapter changing the 3 mm tubing to 1/8" drip tube, 12" of the drip tube, and a transfer barb on the end. All you need to do is put a small hole in your drip line just like you would do to add an emitter and you can experiment with this most advanced kind of irrigation! Make sure your pressure isn't too high though, these usually operate on about 14 psi.
