This caddy allows you to add a second hard drive to your laptop, giving you more storage flexibility. The caddy is made from aluminum and is light and sturdy. The inside of the caddy has a plastic holder to absorb noise and vibrations from a 2nd HDD/SSD. The caddy is also plug and play, so you don't need any additional software or drivers to use it. The caddy is compatible with models with a 12.7mm thick/height SATA Interface Optical Drive / SuperDrive.
