Description
The pool light is a 36 watt, 12 volt rgb color changing swimming pool light that is controlled by a remote. It is waterproof and stainless steel.
Important Notice of Installation. 1.Ensure that the electrical system conforms with the requirements of the current local codes and ordinances. A licensed electrician must install the electrical to meet those requirements before the underwater light installed.
A.The junction box, or the low above the water level, or the low voltage transformer for12Volt models must be located at least 20CM above the water level, and at least 120CM the edge of the pool.
B.Light fixture and all mental items within 150cm feet of the pool must be properly electrically bonded.
C.The mounting bracket must be properly installed so that the top of the edge of the underwater light's lens is at least 45.5cm below the surface of the water in the pool D.The light circuit must have a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter, and must have an appropriately rated circuit breaker.
NOTE:The pool or spa electrical system can be verified with a pool and Spa Electrical Qualification Test Kit.The electrical system inspection using this kit must be performed by trained and certified personal.
2.Consult the local building department to certain that the pool's electrical system meets all applicable requirements.Perform the following steps after the electrical system requirements are met.
A locate position on vertical wall where the light is to be installed.The top of the light lens must be 45.5CM below normal water level.
3.Feed CORD Through conduit to JUNCTION box, leaving at least 120CM of the cord at the light fixture to around the light. This 120CM of the cord allow the light allows the light to be serviced after the pool is fulled with water.
4.Cut the cord at the Junction Box, leaving at least 15CM of cord to make connections.
5.Strip 15CM of the outer cord jacket to expose the 3 insulated wires.Be careful not to damage the 2 inner wires.
6.Connect all 2 wires to the corresponding circuit wires in the Junction Box.
