Description
This is a cable adaptor that will allow you to transmit digital video without any conversion or loss. It is made of a black cable with male DVI-D connectors on one end and a HDMI connector on the other. It is compatible with DVI-I and DVI-D connections on a cable, and is capable of working at resolutions up to Full HD 1080p and up to 1920x1200 @ 60Hz. It does not support analog DVI connectors or adapters to VGA, and does not transmit audio. You will need a compatible screen to watch content that is encrypted with HDCP if you want to watch it without any loss.
