Description
The Haoge Lens Hood is designed to prevent stray light from entering the lens and to reduce vignetting. The hood also extends the end of the lens, providing added protection from accidental impact. The hood is compatible with the Nikon AF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G DX ED, Nikon AF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G DX ED II, and Nikon AF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G DX VR lenses.
The Haoge Lens Hood is primarily designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens, plus prevent vignetting. In addition, since the end of the lens is extended, you also get the added benefit of some extra protection from accidental impact.
