Description
Primarily made for planetary observation, these 1.25" fully multicoated eyepieces give maximum detail and definition across the entire 58 degree field of view. A great value, these eyepieces are exceptional at nearly eliminating lateral color aberration and light scatter often associated with more expensive eyepieces that are better suited for deep space objects. Each eyepiece has 5 lens elements in 3 groups - with the exception of the 20mm eyepiece which has 4 groups.Experienced observers will truly appreciate such generous eye relief at significant magnifications. The exit pupil distance of planetary eyepiece has achieved 16mm. Planetary eyepiece is equipped with an eyepiece barrel which could be rotated for adjustment and a convertible rubber ring for eyes. Planetary eyepiece has an excellent imaging quality well beyond common PL eyepieces. Every surface of lens is coated repeatedly to ensure high contrast ratio. The planetary eyepiece is suitable for observation of the moon, Jupiter, Mars and Saturn. It could bring you a better observation experience in a comfortable situation with high-contrast imaging. The planetary eyepiece is optimized for observing bright target with more details. It must have high transmittance and contrast ratio with least lateral chromatic aberration and scattering phenomenon. As for users without tracking system, lateral chromatic aberration and other aberrations are minimized, thus planet passes through the field of view with sharp and high contrast image. In addition, typical planetary eyepieces usually obtain higher magnification with short focal length, since the moon and planets observers are always in the pursuit of details.
