Description
The Haoge Lens Hood is a bayonet mount design that is made of plastic and is black in color. It is designed to shade and extend the end of the lens, as well as prevent vignetting. It is compatible with the Canon PowerShot G1 X camera and is specifically designed to fit the lenses listed above.
The Haoge Lens Hood is primarily designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens, plus prevent vignetting. In addition, since the end of the lens is extended, you also get the added benefit of some extra protection from accidental impact.
