Description
This product is an adapter that allows a Canon FD mount lens to be used on a Canon EOS camera. It features an AF-Confirm Chip, which allows the lens to autofocus without the need for the camera to autofocus. The EXIF is fixed at 50mm F1.4/F1.6/F1.8/F2.0/F2.2/F2.5/F2.8/F3.2/F3.5/F4.0, meaning that the lens will not adjust its aperture based on the camera's settings. The focus infinity is set to be at the lens itself, with optical glass. There is no ROM connection on the adapter, meaning that the lens' autofocus and other functions will not work correctly while it is in use. The adapter also has a manual diaphragm control, meaning that the user must set the diaphragm themselves. The adapter also has an automatic diaphragm, but it will not work if the user wants to use any other functions, such as auto-focusing. Note:
1.The EOS auto focusing system doesn't support as less as F5.6. Before your capturing you have to focusing with MAX aperture and stop down to capturing.
2.Not all Digital EOS camera has this extra power switch. It only exists on most Film EOS cameras, 1-series Digital EOS cameras and D30/D60. Newer consumer grade Digital EOS cameras do not have this switch at all so you do not need to care about it when using these camera models.
