These are extension springs that are mounted above the horizontal garage door tracks running from front to back of the garage door.
These are 27 / 48 Extension springs.
27? long with 48 inches of stretch.
27? long is industry standard for 8' tall garage doors - these are the only length extension springs currently being manufactured. If the existing springs are not 27? long - if you have the correct weight (pull) and door height springs, the balance will be correct.
