The Vetmate Dogs and Cats Blood Glucose Monitoring Starter Kit is a diabetes testing kit that is specifically calibrated for dogs and cats with hematocrit level difference between them and humans. The kit includes 1 glucose meter, 10 test strips, 10 lancets, 1 lancing device, 1 carrying case, 2 batteries, and manuals and etc. The strips use GDH-FAD, which enables both capillary blood samples and venous samples to be used. Simply put, veterinarians and pet owners can use them without hardships and provide the same glucose results! Unlike older technologies, no code chip is required to be installed in the meter with each new box of strips. It only requires 0.4 micro-liter blood samples and 5 seconds to test. Test Strips will have expiry of 24 MONTHS even after the vial has been opened for use. Vetmate is built with negative LCD (black screen with white fonts) to provide easy reading as well as convenience of not shining light in the dark.
