Description
This product is a set of 150 strips of pH test paper that comes in a bottle. It has a pH range of 4.5-9.0 and is used to test the pH levels in saliva. The display type is analog and there is no backlight. The scale on the paper ranges from 1 to 14, with 1-3 indicating high acidity, 4-6 indicating acidity, 7 indicating neutrality, 8-11 indicating alkalinity, and 12-14 indicating high alkalinity. The instructions for use state that for testing urine, the first and second urine of the day should be tested and the average reading recorded. The strip should be briefly placed in the urine stream and then shaken to remove excess fluid before waiting 15 seconds to read the pH. For testing saliva, the instructions recommend waiting two hours after eating, spitting saliva into a spoon, dipping the strip into the fluid, and waiting 15 seconds to read the pH.
