This is a handmade Damascus steel hunting axe hatchet with a rosewood handle. The blade is made of 1095/15N20 alloy steel, which has 176 true layers and is hand forged to a beautiful pattern. The hardness of the blade is HRC 57-60 in the lab and has been hand sharpened to a sharp edge.
