Description
The protagonist, Ellie, is looking for her idol, Andrew McCarthy. She is traveling across the United States in search of him. Along the way, she meets a cast of characters, some of which are more improbable than Frosty the Giant Pig. In the end, she finds out that McCarthy is not as successful as she thought he was, and that life has not fulfilled its promise for him. However, she does learn a few things about herself and her own life.
