The Pelican Big Ed flashlight is designed for use by firefighters. It is made from unbreakable ABS plastic and has rubber side grips to prevent slipping. The side switch is easy to operate even with thick gloves on. The flashlight has a heavy duty stainless steel clip for hands-free use. It uses a hi-intensity Xenon lamp that produces a beam strong enough to cut through thick smoke and dust. The flashlight also has a back-up emergency lamp.
