The Classic Cotton Canvas range from Winsor & Newton is a refined selection of cotton and linen canvasses, stretched by hand and primed with highly pigmented titanium dioxide Gesso for superior coverage and performance. The archival cloths give balanced absorbency and tooth which gives improved adherence and responsiveness to every brushstroke. The frames are professionally constructed, crafted from kiln-dried solid Fir and Paulownia wood, the stretcher bars are rigorously tested for warp-resistance, and the canvas is stapled at the back with folded uncut corners for a professional finish. Canvasses in the Classic range do not include the pro-stretchers like in the Professional range, but do instead include wood keys to allow you to further adjust the tension of your canvas. This cotton canvas is 16x20in in size and has a profile depth of 19mm across.

warp-resistance. The canvas is stapled at the back with folded
uncut corners for a professional finish to allow artwork to be
produced on all 4 edges of the canvas. Canvasses in the Classic
range do not include the pro-stretchers like in the Professional
range but do instead include wood keys to allow you to further
adjust the tension of your canvas.This is a cotton canvas and is
16x20in in size. The profile depth of the classic cotton canvas
measures 19mm across. The Winsor & Newton Classic Cotton Canvas
is available in sizes ranging from 6x4in to 60x40in and has a
