Description
This is a description of a watercolor paper by Bockingford. The paper is 300 gsm, 22x30 inches, and has a cream color. The paper is acid free and lightfast. The paper is rotary trimmed on all four edges, and is not surface. The paper is made with a mould-made process and is internally sized.
Because watercolour paint is transparent the colour of the paper is
a very important part of the painting. The colour of the ground
will affect everything on top of it, both the painted and unpainted
areas, even different shades of white. The artist can substantially
alter the mood and atmosphere of the painting by using a coloured
paper. These Bockingford tinted papers are worth
experimentation.This tinted paper is also a great drawing paper and
