The Red Hat Society (RHS) is an international playgroup for women created to connect like-minded women, make new friends and enrich lives through the power of fun and friendship! RHS is dedicated to reshaping the way women approaching 50 and beyond are viewed in today's culture. RHS supports and encourages women to pursue fun, friendship, freedom, fulfillment of lifelong dreams and fitness. Women over age 50 are known as "Red Hatters' while those under 50 are called 'Pink Hatters". The official instrument is the kazoo and the official sport is shopping.
