Description
Mate Tea is a diuretic and is also said to fight free radicals, cleanse the blood, suppress appetite, and act as a tonic for mental and physical fatigue. It is also said to be helpful for mild pain, increasing urine outflow, and assisting in the treatment of headaches, neuralgic and rheumatic pains, migraine, fatigue, and minor depression. As a tea, it can be made with 1-2 teaspoons of Mate in 1 cup of boiling water and infused for 10-15 minutes. Strain and drink 2-3 times per day. Yerba Santa is also known as Mate Tea.
