This is a product review for a Grandmax CAT6 50 Foot RJ45 550MHZ Utp Ethernet Network Patch Cable Snagless Molded Ferrari Boot Black. The product is a 50 foot RJ45 Ethernet cable with a snagless molded Ferrari boot. The cable is rated for 550 MHz and is UTP (Unshielded twisted pair). The gold plated 50u RJ45 connector is 8P8C - 2 ROW connector and is UL listed for 10/100 Base T and gigabit Ethernet networks. The cable is 24 AWG stranded round snagless and has the Ferrari molding to protect the RJ45 plastic tab from damage during installation.
CATEGORY 6 PATCH CORDS CAT6 are 4 pair cables which allow for 10 Gigabit Ethernet speeds (10GBASE-T), unlike CAT5e's maximum of 1 Gigabit Ethernet. CAT6 also allows for two-way communication for each pair of wires, which leads to faster perceived speed. If you need a fast internal network and do not need cable lengths of more than 128 feet (longer lengths are 1 Gigabit), then CAT6 is the best choice. CAT6 is fully backwards compatible with CAT5e, CAT5 and CAT3 equipment.
