The Rockville RCTT1250 is a 50-foot, 12 gauge pro speaker cable with 1/4" TS to 1/4" TS connectors. It is made with 100% copper, which is more efficient than the cheaper CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) cables commonly found on the market. The use of 100% copper ensures better performance and longevity for equipment. Rockville pays for an inspection company to oversee the manufacturing process and ensure that the cable is made with 100% Oxygen Free Copper (OFC). This results in a cable that is less prone to oxidation and provides maximum signal transfer. The cable is intended for high-current applications only and is not suitable for line-level signals. It features a black PVC jacket for durability and flexibility.

CCA cables do not perform on the levelthat 100% copper cables perform at. CCA will not conduct signals efficiently. A12 gauge CCA cable will not even perform as well as a 14 gauge 100% pure coppercable, which will in turn, affect the performance and longevity of yourequipment. If you find cables on the market that do not mention the coppercontent, there is a good chance that they are selling you a cheaper cable thatis CCA and not 100% copper.
