Description
The Radivit Compost Accelerator is a product that contains all of the main compost bacteria and enzymes together with fungal cultures. This digested nutritional medium is meant to help speed up the decomposition process of materials, even for materials with low levels of nutrients. The product comes in a 1kg size and can be sprinkled throughout the compost heap to activate it.
Radivit Compost Accelerator is an organic composting agent which contains all of the main compost bacteria together with enzymes and fungus cultures. Added nutrients provide an easily digested nutritional medium.
This digested nutritional medium is for the micro-organisms and thus facilitate rapid, optimum rotting, even for materials with low levels of nutrients such as autumn leaves and chopped tree cuttings. The available size is 1kg.
Directions for use:
- Sprinkle every 30cm layer of material to activate and accelerate the process. Ensure compost heap is always damp, not dry or too wet.
- If it is too dry add more water and if it is too wet then the dry material can be added such as shredded newspaper or egg cartons.
- Mix compost every 2-3 weeks to ensure organisms are getting sufficient oxygen.
- In winter the decomposition process slows down and it is, therefore, advisable to reactivate in Spring by sprinkling Radivit throughout the heap.
