This cable adapter is designed to connect an iPhone or iPad to a HDTV. It supports most cars, but is not designed for charging purposes. The cable has a cooling function to prevent the device from overheating. The adapter also supports iTunes and most apps that use mirroring, but does not work with licensed movies on the iPhone.
