Description
The Tccmebius TCC-S866 is a USB 3.0 hard drive docking station that allows for easy duplication and transfer of data between hard drives and computers. It features a one-step process for changing HDDs without the need for a screwdriver, and supports UASP for high-speed data transfers. The intuitive LED lighting system tracks progress during offline cloning and the device also has an auto sleep function for energy conservation. However, users are advised to backup files and avoid faulty driver cells to prevent data loss or damage to the device. The package includes the docking station, power adapter, USB cable, and manual.
Product Description:
1. Why Need It -The product can be used to duplicate/clone an existing hard drive without connecting to a computer, or simply as external storage to transfer data between hard drives and your computer. When using offline cloning, not connected to the computer can be realized from A disk copy to B disk (A disk must be less than B disk). Note: Hard drive cloning cannot be performed when connecting to a computer.
2. How Easy -Only need one step, you can change HDD(2.5" or 3.5") to HDD(2.5" or 3.5") without screwdriver, and Stand next to you PC or Notebook. No more need open the external case and remove several screws.
3. Supports UASP -We've included the JMS561U chip in it, which means dependable, high-quality data transfers to and from your external hard drive at speeds up to 6 Gbps! NOTE: UASP requires UASP capable host system.
4. Intuitive LED Lighting System -The left-hand light and right-hand light will turn blue respectively when either Disk A or Disk B are inserted, and will flash when either is activated. Four blue LED lights clearly track your data's progress during offline cloning from 25% to 50%, 75% and finally 100%.
5. Auto Sleep Function -The is an excellent feature. It conserves energy and prevents overheating, but this wasn't enough. We had to make sure this feature was user friendly and we did just that using an intuitive LED lighting system.
Attention
-Please backup files in the target hard drive before cloning. Any files in target hard drive will be overwritten when offline cloning occurs.
-To avoid data transfer errors, overheating and damage to the device please make sure that there are no faulty driver cells.
-To avoid data loss, do not remove or insert drives when one drive is working in the docking station. Please power off the docking station before removing.
