Description
The Eclipse Tools MT-7063 Poe & Lan Cable Tester is a device that tests Ethernet networks for power over Ethernet (PoE) existence. It can also detect the type of power sourcing equipment (either an endspan or midspan), and only works with midspan/endspan. The cable tester can test up to 984 feet of cable and has an 8 LED cable map indication. The device also has a shielded indication, and can test live telecommunication equipment. The dimensions of the device are 4x2.6x1 inches, and it weighs 0.3 pounds without the battery.
