The Big Base Long Range Magnetic Truck Mount Antenna is a heavy duty antenna designed for use with Garmin Alpha and Astro dog GPS tracking systems. It has a 5.9" base and a 48" spring whip, making it ideal for long distance tracking. The antenna connects to the handheld device through Outdoor Dog Supply's quick connect connector. It is specifically tuned for use with hounds, deer dogs, bear dogs, hog dogs, mountain lion dogs, coyote dogs, and other distance travelers. The spring at the bottom of the whip helps when navigating through low hanging branches in wooded areas.
