This is a display matting that fits a 20x24 inch frame with an opening size for a 16x20 inch photo/print/image. The custom opening is bevel-cut to showcase the core of the mat while the outside edges of the mat are straight-cut. The mat is manufactured in the U.S.A. and cut and shipped from our facility in Ithaca, Michigan.
This display matting fits a 20x24 inch frame with an opening size for a 16x20 inch photo/print/image (actual opening size is 15.5x19.5 inches). The reason for the smaller "actual" opening size is to create a .25 inch overlap on all sides so that the matting sufficiently covers and correctly adheres to the photo or print for proper display. The custom opening is bevel-cut to showcase the core of the mat while the outside edges of the mat are straight-cut. All mats are manufactured in the U.S.A. and cut and shipped from our facility in Ithaca, Michigan.
