This product is a Gigabit Ethernet Fiber Media Converter that includes a 1000BASE-SX Sfp Transceiver-lc Multimode 850NM 550M-TO Utp CAT6 Patch Cord 10 100 1000 RJ-45. The converter is completely transparent when connected, allowing the network to function as it did before - only now, it allows the co-existence of both copper and fiber mediums. The converter also supports auto negotiation function, allowing the UTP port to auto select 10M, 100M or 1000M. The Ethernet port supports MDI/MDI-X auto crossover, and supports Full Duplex and Half Duplex. The converter also has status LED's for TX,FX LINK/ACT, POWER,FDX to easily monitor network status.
