One suggestion that if your plastic inserts need to be straightened ,such as kinked zipper: take a damp hand towel, stick it in the microwave for within 30 seconds - you want it very warm, but not scalding hot.
Please be careful.The temperature is too high to make the pouch irreversible deformation.Take the towel and place it on the area of the insert you'd like to straighten for a few second, press gently. Remove towel. The heat from the towel will soften the plastic and allow you to gently straighten a zipper or unfold a crease. When it cools, it should keep whatever shape you've worked it into. Repeat as needed to achieve satisfactory results.You could also use this technique to loosen tight card slots.
