The Sparkfun Block for Intel Edison is a small computing platform that includes an Intel AtomTM SoC dual-core CPU, integrated WiFi and Bluetooth LE, and a 70-pin connector for attaching additional "Blocks". One of these Blocks is the Edison OLED Block, which provides a 0.66" monochrome OLED display and a joystick and push-buttons for control. This technology is making it easier for people to get involved in the world of electronics.
