Description
This is a description of a 13" round ceramic pizza stone for use with outdoor grills and ovens. The stone is made of high refractory mullite/cordierite formula ceramic and is designed to fit most large grills and ovens. It can be used as a heat deflector to create an indirect, low & slow barbecue set-up or in standard ovens for breads, cookies and other goods. The stone is best heated up at least 30 minutes before use.

Its best to set the stone while the cooker comes to temperature for even heating. At least 30 minutes. Use the 13" stone for pizza on virtually all grills and outdoor cookers with an 14" or larger cooking area .
Don't forget to add a barrier between the stone and pizza dough, so the dough does not stick to the stone. Corn meal or parchment paper works for a barrier. Ceramics are high refractory, mullite/cordierite formula.
