The Georgetown Pottery Round Ikebana Flower Vase is a popular and elegant vase designed to accentuate all parts of a flower. It is sold in galleries and gift shops across the country and is known for its ability to prolong the life of flowers. Each vase is handmade in the USA with fine porcelain and features a circular foot that gives it a floating appearance. The vase measures 5 3/4 inches in diameter and is individually glazed, decorated, and fired in a kiln at 2500 degrees. It also has a pin frog inside to hold the stems of flowers and allow them to absorb water for up to 3 weeks.

The Round Ikebana Vase is our most popular shape and features a circular foot that gives it the appearance of floating on your table. Each vase measures 5 3/4 inches in diameter and is handmade of fine porcelain at our studio in Georgetown Maine. They are individually glazed, decorated, fired in our kiln at 2500 degrees, and finally finished by permanently affixing a pin frog inside the vase. The prongs of the pin frog pierce the stems of your flowers and allow them to absorb water much longer than any traditional vase. This significantly prolongs the life of your blooms, in some instances to up to 3 weeks. Like all of our products, they are hand made in the USA by local artists.
