The first film is Galapagos, which tells the story of Charles Darwin's exploration of the Galapagos Islands. The second film is Into the Deep, which takes the viewer on a spectacular exploration of the undersea world. The third film is Mummies, which tells the story of the investigation into the mummies of ancient Egypt. All three films were filmed using the IMAX camera and its underwater housing unit, and all three films were released in 3D.

Principal photography took place off the coast of Santa Barbara in the Channel Islands using the IMAX camera underwater housing unit..
