This is a 2nd HDD/SSD caddy adapter for Lenovo Ideapad G500 G510 G530 G550 G555. It is a compact and portable design that works with 2.5" inch 12.5mm / 9.5mm / 7mm Serial ATA Hard drive HDD and SSD (Solid State Drive). It has a build-in lock screws to make it easy to mount your second hard drive, and the inside of the caddy has a plastic holder to absorb noise and vibrations from a 2nd HDD/SSD. The caddy is also build from aluminum which makes it light, sturdy and provides cooling for the hard drive. The caddy is updated with a SATA board included to fix the shutdown / sleep model problem with 2nd HDD/SSD. It is also Plug & Play, and fast and reliable connection just as the primary HDD.
