This connector converter is designed to convert Dell or HP/Compaq round power connector to a 5.5x2.5mm connector. The connector has high quality 16AWG cable between the two ends of the connectors. The converter will not change the voltage.
BiXPower DC Power Connector Converter CNT-X75. This connector converts Dell or HP/Compaq Round Shape power connector with 7.4mm outside diameter to a 5.5 x 2.5mm connector. You may use this X75 connector with BiXPower's other C series connectors to convert the 5.5x2.5mm connector to many different connectors for many different computers. It has high quality 16AWG cable between the two ends of the connectors
One end of this connector is a 7.4 x 5.08mm female jack, and the other end is a 5.5x2.5mm male connector. The cable between two ends is made with high quality 16AWG wires. Total length from end to end is around 190mm (or 7.5"). It can change a 7.4 x 5.08mm male connector with center pin (Outside Diameter 7.4mm, Inside Diameter 5.08mm) to a 5.5x2.5mm male connector (Outside Diameter 5.5mm, Inside Diameter 2.5mm).
This adapter will not change the voltage. The output voltage will be same as input voltage. Please make sure the voltage is correct for your application when using this adapter.
7.4 x 5.08mm connector is widely used as Dell and HP/Compaq laptop power adapter connector.
Note: This converter female side will only accept round shaped connectors. You can not use this converter if your power adapter connector is not a round shape. Some Dell power adapters have octagon shaped connectors, which will not fit the female side of this converter.
After you convert the 7.4 x 5.08mm connector to 5.5x2.5mm male connector, you can use BiXPower C series connectors to convert the 5.5x2.5mm connector to other size connectors if needed.
