The multi-display hub utilizes the Multi Stream Transport (MST) protocol, which supports 2 displays each at 2560x1600@60Hz or 4K@30Hz. This hub is ideal for Microsoft Surface Pro 2, Surface Pro 3, Surface Pro 4, and Surface Book, but compatible with any computer running Windows OS.
Supports Dual Mode (DisplayPort++) Don't have 2 DisplayPort Monitors? The Dual Mode (DP++) DisplayPort outputs allows the use passive or active adapters to convert the DisplayPort signal to single-link HDMI, VGA, or DVI signals. Accell MST Hubs make it easy to connect multiple monitors.

Important Notes - The max number of displays enabled at the same time is limited by the number of display pipes
- For optimal compatibility, Accell brand DisplayPort adapters should be used when adapting the video outputs to HDMI, DVI or VGA
- The Microsoft Surface 3 has a Mini DisplayPort output that can only drive 1 external monitor. This provides no application for using a MST Hub
- To adapt Surface 3 to a non-DisplayPort monitor, use a Mini DisplayPort adapter. To connect to a DisplayPort monitor, use an Accell VESA certified, HBR2 rated cable
